Production Manager – CNC Machines

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day CNC machine production activities, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Plan and schedule production orders in coordination with engineering, purchasing, and logistics departments.
• Supervise and support CNC operators, programmers, and technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability.
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Implement process improvements, lean manufacturing principles, and workflow optimization initiatives.
• Analyze production data and prepare performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with the quality and engineering departments to address technical challenges and drive product and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in CNC machining or precision manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of CNC technologies (milling, turning, multi-axis machines).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production planning principles.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machining programs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP and production management systems.
