Sales Manager

Location: Stuttgart, Germany

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company growth and revenue targets in CNC machines and engineering solutions.
  • Identify, approach, and acquire new customers in manufacturing, machining, and automation industries.
  • Manage and grow relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Prepare and present commercial offers, technical proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with the technical and engineering departments to create tailored solutions for customers.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Track and report key sales metrics, forecasts, and performance indicators to senior management.
  • Contribute to marketing and promotional strategies for CNC products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Management, or related field (MBA a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales and business development, preferably in CNC machinery, metalworking, or automation industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key industrial accounts.
  • Strong understanding of CNC technologies (milling, turning, 5-axis, etc.) and machining processes.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on, customer-focused approach.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and industry events (domestic and international).
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset).
